Of all the retarded ideas guys think up during their 20s, this one takes the cake. News of a practice called “Slut Dropping” is sweeping the world, a new “fun”, sexist “game of lulz” seemingly started in the UK by a gang of fucking idiots who don’t give two iotas of a fuck about a girl’s safety.
In the wake of Melbourne Australia‘s Jill Meagher tragic saga, this should be sure to pinch a nerve in many a reader:
Slut Dropping or Slut Dumping is the act of a car load of guys (or girls too, don’t put it past them) who, during the early hours of a morning when girls are leaving clubs and bars, drive up to them and offer them a lift. They coax the girl into accepting. She gets in the car. They then proceed to do a U-turn and instead drive the girl as far away from the direction of travel she wishes to go in, as possible.
The young men forcefully prevent her from leaving the car, ignoring her demands for them to stop, all the while laughing and hooting like a pack of Nitro-Jagermeister addicts at her expense. When they’ve driven to a satisfactorily far enough location, they drop the girl off in the middle of nowhere and drive off, leaving her to find her way home, alone. … I’m going to pause for dramatic effect here. Just let that sink in… Men (and possibly women) who partake in this practice come in only two flavours:
a) Those who don’t have the mental capacity to think ahead to possible consequences for the girl’s safety and legitimately are dumb enough that they can’t understand their actions are potentially devastatingly harmful,
b) Those who respect women so little that they actually maliciously believe that girls who go out are sluts who warrant being treated like dog shit and who deserve to get raped or murdered, whatever fate befalls them.
Some Slut Droppers also reportedly take it a step further, throwing the girl’s phone, purse and belongings as far away as possible making it even more difficult for the girl to attract help and find her way home.
What must go on in the brains of these predators – which is what they are – really sickens me. Worst of all, they don’t seem to realise that this is class-A abduction, and is an illegal act in almost every country in the world. The horrific normalisation of blatant sexism and “give them what they deserve” physical and verbal torment leaves me wondering whether we are in fact living in a democracy or whether increasingly men secretly do want to live back in a pre-Biblical society of inferior women who are seen as sexual prey deserving of no respect. Strip the word Chivalry from the dictionary: we don’t know the meaning of the word anymore.

Why “Sluts”?
Well, apparently the victim has to be wearing clothing deemed sexually alluring enough in nature — highly subjective of course — but generally practically any outfit indicative of the presence of sexuality or attractiveness. High heels, patterned stockings, skirts above the knee, figure-hugging mini shorts, low-cut outfits, obvious effort put into make-up, basically… that really doesn’t narrow it down much, seeing as that’s the kind of thing 99% of the girls I see in clubs and bars, wear. The fact that this kind of general clothing alone, is enough to label a girl a “slut” really shows just how misinformed and judgemental misogynistic, sexist arseholes have become.
The whole definition of “Slut” aside, why does this constitute “hilariously” malicious, nasty punishment?
Are we all living under Sharia Law?
The UK newspaper The Independent decried the practice of “slut-dropping” and other sexist freshers’ week activities, citing them as just a small part in the new, larger movement/trend known as Slut-Shaming. One victim of Slut Dropping reportedly walked for eight full hours to get home, with blisters on her feet and feeling terrified, vulnerable and cold the entire way.

Trolling?
Unfortunately, the practice appears to be legit. Humanistlife.org.uk described an email sent out to Imperial College Physics freshmen calling for first-years to scope out their new freshmen female victims early and become part of the Slut Dropping trend.
Mark my words, you’ll be hearing about slut dropping related heinous acts in your capital city before long. At the time of writing, this particular Facebook group has but 100 fans. Expect that to grow ten-fold as this spreads throughout the immature masses.
